18. Respect for Persons/Hazing.
You are expected to respect the rights and privileges of other members of the University community. Violating this
code of civility includes, but is not limited to, any verbal, physical, or psychological abuse of any person; engaging in
brawling or fighting; engaging in boisterous or noisy conduct reasonably tending to arouse alarm, resentment or anger
in others; verbal or physical conduct which attempts to demean or devalue a person’s inherent worth and human
dignity; lewd or obscene behavior; hazing (See MnSCU Policy 3.6 definition); or any conduct which interferes with the
rights of others. Conduct that threatens or endangers the health or safety of a person is prohibited.
