The OCCUPIED Constitutional Amendment Is Introduced

Congressman Theodore “Ted” Deutch of Florida introduces the Outlawing Corporate Cash Undermining the Public Interest in our Elections and Democracy (OCCUPIED) constitutional amendment. The amendment would have overturned the Citizens United Supreme Court decision and ban the use of all corporate money in elections. The bill died after being referred to committee.
