Times Film Corp. v. Chicago (1961)
In yet another challenge by the Times Film Corporation, a split Supreme Court upheld Chicago’s censorship in Times Film v. Chicago. This was the first (and only) decision to go against the anti-censorship trend since the Court’s 1952 Burstyn decision.
