Sexual harassment is defined as follows:
“Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and/or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:
(3) such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s work or academic performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive working or academic environment in any University activity or program.”

Sex discrimination includes, but is not limited to, pregnancy, childbirth, and disabilities related to pregnancy or childbirth. A pregnant woman is permitted to work as long as she is able to perform her job. Pregnancy alone is not a disability.
