There must be a coordinated effort to educate the entire campus community that it is an individual’s duty and responsibility to prevent discrimination and/or harassment. Education related to issues of individuals rights, how to report incidents of discrimination and/or harassment, and building a welcoming supportive community with diverse individuals needs to be part of the University’s educational efforts.
