It’s been just two days since the release of FIRE President Greg Lukianoff’s book Unlearning Liberty: Campus Censorship and the End of American Debate, but the book is already making waves throughout the media.
We’ve already highlighted Greg’s op-ed published today in The New York Times, which was subsequently named one of the five best columns of the day by The Atlantic. Greg also has a piece for Breitbart.com today that explores the themes of Unlearning Liberty, particularly the destructive effect of campus speech codes.
In addition to these articles, Unlearning Liberty has gained significant attention from several leading publications, national radio stations, and the blogosphere. Here are some of the highlights so far:
- The Washington Times
- Syndicated columnist Mike Adams
- The Washington Free Beacon
- WLRN’s "Topical Currents"
- The John William Pope Center for Higher Education Policy
- Publisher’s Weekly
- National Review
We’re thrilled to see Unlearning Liberty in the news, and there will be much more to come from Greg in the next few days.
This evening, he will be appearing on "The Buzz Bissinger Show with Steve Martorano" on WPHT radio here in Philadelphia at 6:35 p.m. He will also be on the nationally syndicated "Jim Bohannon Show" on Monday at 11:00 p.m. Finally, he’ll be making an appearance this Saturday as the keynote speaker at the Students For Liberty Regional Conference in New York City.
Stay tuned for more from Greg and Unlearning Liberty!
