Her commentary is frequently featured by media outlets like The New York Times, the BBC, CNN, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Hill, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico. She speaks regularly at events nationwide, educating and engaging students, faculty, administrators, and members of the public on emerging campus rights issues.

Alex is a member of the First Amendment Lawyers Association. She has a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School, and has trained at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
