Student organizations should consult with the Department of Campus Life & Family Engagement before planning any major event. Certain events may necessitate the completion of an event checklist, including:

• Programs or events open to individuals outside of the organization’s membership
• Large-scale fundraising events such as concerts and food sales
• Events requiring a contract with a vendor or facility
• Events where alcohol will be served (also refer to the Social Host Policy event checklist)
• Events requiring additional insurance
