Sandy Leong

Sandy’s sense of civic responsibility shines through in her creative and philanthropic ventures. In 2009, she founded Sandy Leong Fine Jewelry, a New York City-based jewelry business through which she designs pieces inspired by the natural world using sustainably sourced materials. Sandy also plays an active role in the governance of a number of mission-driven organizations. She has been a board member of the Center for the Rights of Abused Children since its inception. She is also a board member of the National Museum of Mathematics and Boys & Girls Aid, a nonprofit dedicated to finding secure long-term families for foster children. 

An enthusiastic supporter of free speech, Sandy has been a member of FIRE’s Ember Club since 2002 along with her husband Bob Gelfond, also a friend of liberty, who serves on the board of the Institute for Justice and of the Cato Institute.
