Adam to Speak at Tarleton State Constitution Day Celebration This Week

Adam Kissel, FIRE's Vice President of Programs, will address students and faculty at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, this week as part of the school's Constitution Day celebration. On Thursday, September 15, Adam will give a talk entitled "Free Speech in the Academic Environment" at 7:30 p.m. CDT in the lecture hall of the Nursing Building, Room 107. On Friday, Adam will also lead a lunch discussion at 12 p.m. in the Library Multipurpose room. A pizza lunch for students will be provided, sponsored by The College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the Dick Smith Library, and free copies of the U.S. Constitution will be distributed, courtesy of Congressman John Carter, District 31. Students at Tarleton State and FIRE supporters in the Dallas area are encouraged to attend.
