Harassment leading to a hostile environment, which includes conduct meeting the following criteria and based in whole or in part upon the person’s age, color, disability, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, veteran status, political affiliation, or any other basis protected by law. Harassment is defined as behavior that includes all of the following:
a.Directed toward a particular person or persons
b.Unwelcome
c.Severe or Pervasive
d.Unreasonably interferes with the targeted person’s employment, academic pursuits, or participation in university-sponsored activities as to effectively deny equal access to the university’s resources and opportunities.
