“Sexual harassment” under this policy is unwanted conduct of a sexual nature that is sufficiently serious (i.e., severe/pervasive) and objectively offensive as to deny or limit a person’s ability to participate in or benefit from the University’s programs, services, opportunities, or activities; or that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual’s employment. See UAP 2740 (including sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, domestic and dating violence) for definitions of sexual harassment under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
