2015 FIRE Student Network Conference Begins Today!

It’s finally here!

The 2015 FIRE Student Network Conference commences this afternoon here in Philadelphia. Students from across the country are coming together for a weekend packed with education, training, networking, and fun. We’re especially excited to be joined tonight by former ACLU President Nadine Strossen, who will address the conference and answer questions. Tomorrow night, acclaimed Washington Post columnist Radley Balko will do the same.

In addition to our keynote speakers, students can look forward to engaging presentations and workshops with FIRE staff and interns. They’ll also have plenty of time to network and make new friends at meals and socials.

Each year, the FSN conference provides attendees a fantastic experience that yields new lessons, new perspectives, and new friends. We can’t wait to meet each student at this year’s event, and we look forward to seeing what they will accomplish when they bring the lessons they’ve learned back to campus in the fall.

The future of free speech looks bright indeed, so grab a pair of FIRE shades and we’ll see you in Philly. Oh, and don’t forget to tweet #FSN15!
