FIRE Headed to Campus Progress Tomorrow
Last year, Will and I attended the 2008 Campus Progress National Conference in Washington, D.C. on behalf of FIRE and the Campus Freedom Network. FIRE regularly attends conferences from all over the political spectrum in order to spread our nonpartisan message of liberty on campus (we were at CPAC earlier this year), and we're pleased to announce that FIRE will be returning to attend this year's Campus Progress event. Luke and Peter will be heading to D.C. tonight to get ready for a full day of informing students in attendance about how they can be proactive about defending their rights on campus, passing out FIRE's Guides, and generally spreading the word about FIRE's vigilant defense of student rights.
If you will be attending the conference, be sure to stop by FIRE's booth and say hello. Peter will also be twittering updates and photos from the conference.
