Help Educate for Students’ Rights on Campus
FIRE’s strategies to defend individual rights include the effort to educate students and the general public about First Amendment and free speech rights in higher education. No other endeavor in recent memory has done more to awaken students to the extent of their rights on campus than FIRE’s Guides Project. Launched in 2003, FIRE has published five Guides focusing on each component of individual liberty: free speech, religious liberty, due process, legal equality, and thought reform.
FIRE has distributed tens of thousands of Guides to students across the country and would like to place these invaluable resources in hundreds of university and public libraries. If you would be interested in supporting this effort and others like it, please visit www.thefire.org/support.
