Lawrence H. Summers Joins FIRE Board of Advisors

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE, thefire.org) is pleased to announce the newest addition to its Board of Advisors—Lawrence H. Summers. Professor Summers is President Emeritus of Harvard University. He is currently the Charles W. He has also served as Secretary of the Treasury of the United States and, more recently, as Director of the National Economic Council. FIRE's staff and its Board of Directors will benefit greatly from Professor Summers' advice and his perspective on the issues of individual rights and academic freedom on our nation's college campuses.
