Evan Coyne Maloney, director of Indoctrinate U, has been posting deleted scenes of his film on his website and today he has posted a segment about the infamous FIRE case at Le Moyne College in New York. Loyal FIRE followers will remember the case: Scott McConnell was expelled for writing a paper in an education class stating that he approved of the use of corporal punishment in grade school classes. Though he received an A minus on the paper, he was immediately dismissed by Le Moyne for his views. FIRE fought his case tooth and nail, and when the school refused to back down, we got Scott in touch with an attorney. Scott won his case, resulting in a powerful state court opinion which demonstrates that private universities in the state of New York will be held to their contractual promises to students, including their promises of free speech.

It is an amazing case, but you don't have to take our word for it. You can see it for yourself here.
