Cait Scanlan

Cait graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in communications and a minor in elementary education. Upon graduation, she started her HR career as the recruiting director for a small financial firm and then moved on to work on the agency side. She worked for Tierney, a public relations and advertising agency for 5 years as a recruiter and human relations generalist, and then for e-commerce agency BVA as the Senior Manager of People. Cait is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and she has her SHRM-CP. Cait was nominated in 2017 for the HR Rising Star of the Year Award in the Philadelphia Tri-State area. Outside of her involvement at FIRE, she loves spending time at the beach with family and friends, traveling, and football.
