Chapin Lenthall-Cleary
Chapin studied Astrophysics and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated in 2024. While at Penn, he created the Pennsylvania Heretic, which publishes unorthodox articles on various political topics, AI benchmarking, and hobby psychology research. He also founded Penn Humans vs. Zombies, which runs zombie apocalypse games with nerf blasters. In his free time, he creates and plays long geopolitical board games, hikes, and reads sci-fi. He's hosted board games, film screenings, and discussions about AI progress through the creative collective The Silver Age. He is continually dismayed by the decline in willingness of people to have civil, rational conversations across disagreement, and hopes to fight this decline, which led him to join FIRE in 2025.
