No coarse jesting, ridiculing, or humiliating pranks under any condition is permitted. Any student participating in either a just-for-fun prank or in a deliberate hazing activity will be held responsible for his/her behavior. Regardless of motive or intent, any student participating in a prank-type activity which potentially endangers or adversely affects the physical and emotional well being of another student can expect immediate and serious disciplinary action including the probability of suspension or dismissal. Any welcoming or introduction procedures related to classes or organizations must be approved by the advisor and the Dean of Student Development at least three weeks in advance of the desired activity.
