The University prohibits harassing behavior, including harassment based upon gender identity, meaning conduct directed at a specific individual(s) that is sufficiently severe or pervasive to substantially interfere with the individual’s employment, education, or access to University programs, activities, and/or opportunities. Behavior is considered to be punishable harassment if: (1) it has a harmful effect on the individual in question; and (2) is behavior that would have a harmful effect on other reasonable individuals who experienced the same treatment.
