These definitions apply to any of the protected classes. Protected classes are defined as: race, sex, age, national origin, religion, marital status, disability and sexual orientation.
a) Intimidating verbal, written or symbolic communications or physical conduct that is abusive toward another individual based on direct or implied discrimination or harassment.
b) Verbal, written or symbolic communications that have the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with an individual's performance, or creating an intimidating, hostile or offensive college environment.
