Sexual harassment is defined in North Carolina Central University’s Sexual Misconduct Policy as follows: Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical conduct or communication of a sexual nature when: … (iii) such conduct is sufficiently severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive as to have the effect of creating an intimidating or hostile educational/work environment or negatively affects a student’s/employee’s educational/employment opportunities.
