Student Handbook: University’s Response to Sexual Misconduct- What should I do if I believe I have been sexually harassed?

Relevant excerpt

The United States Department of Education recently issued a letter to colleges and universities clarifying how they should respond to allegations or claims of sexual harassment by their students.

“Sexual harassment is unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature. It includes unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal, nonverbal, or physical conduct of a sexual nature. Sexual violence is a form of sexual harassment prohibited by Title IX.” (Dear Colleague Letter: Sexual Violence, p. 3)

Students should report incidents or complaints of sexual harassment and sexual violence to the Office of the Vice President for Student Services at 435-586-7710 or in person at ST 201. Faculty and staff should also report these incidents to the Office of the Vice President for Student Services if a student has come to them and reported a complaint or incident.
