General Harassment– Engaging in conduct directed toward a particular individual or identifiable group of individuals through any action, method, device, or means which is so severe or pervasive, and objectively offensive, that it unreasonably interferes with the target individual’s University employment, academic performance, or participation in University programs or activities, effectively denying equal access to University resources and opportunities (i.e., creates a hostile environment).

Discriminatory Harassment- No student shall threaten, coerce, harass or intimidate another person or group based upon the person’s or group’s race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or political affiliation. This includes hate crimes.
