Relevant excerpt

The University of North Dakota (UND/University) acknowledges the rights of students and others to assemble in groups on University property for peaceful rallies, demonstrations, and gatherings.

To further the effectiveness of their event, protest, or demonstration the responsible party is encouraged to make a request and advance arrangements with the Office of Safety and University Police Department.

While the University’s outdoor public areas are open to all University groups and related parties for expressive activities, whether planned or spontaneous, all events on UND property, whether scheduled in advance or not, must be for the purposes of carrying out lawful activities without undue disruption to the University’s operations, and without harming or creating a threat of harm to individuals or property.
