CFN Members, Invite Five Friends and Receive a Copy of ‘The Shadow University’
As Alisha reported earlier this week on The Torch, October 2008 marks the tenth anniversary of the publication of The Shadow University. Penned by FIRE co-founders Alan Charles Kors and Harvey Silverglate to bring the rampant censorship on America's campuses to light, the book galvanized efforts to restore liberty to our nation's campuses and precipitated the creation of FIRE.
Donors aren't the only ones who can get a copy of this important book. Student members of the Campus Freedom Network can receive a copy of The Shadow University by earning 25 points in the Campus Freedom Network's incentive program. All you have to do is get five of your friends to register for the CFN or write an op-ed in your school newspaper about FIRE issues or cases. Just for registering, we'll send you a free FIRE t-shirt.
This is a great way for students to spread the message about liberty and receive this historic book.
