Journalist Judith Shulevitz, a powerful advocate for due process, is hosting a discussion on campus sexual assault as part of “The Way We Live,” a series of panels on “the problems and pleasures of 21st-century life.” FIRE Board of Advisors member and attorney Wendy Kaminer and Columbia Law School Professor Suzanne Goldberg will join Shulevitz on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:30 p.m. for the event at JCC Manhattan. The program costs $12 for members and $18 for non-members, and tickets are available through JCC Manhattan’s website.
Kaminer, Goldberg, and Shulevitz have all given careful thought to the serious issue of campus sexual assault. If you’re in the New York area that day, this event is sure to be well worth attending.
