John Merigliano

About John Merigliano

John is a graduate of Purchase College (S.U.N.Y) where he earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy. He also earned a master of arts in education from the University of the Arts and a nanodegree in front end Web development from Udacity. John began his career teaching Web development at Salem Community College (N.J.) and at La Salle University (Pa.). He has worked with companies such as IKEA, Westinghouse Lighting, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals. John has contributed to several open source projects, including Philly Bike Share Android App and ParkSnap iOS App. He recently authored his own content management system for Comcast’s Digital Welcome Guides. During off hours, John enjoys composing music and is a drummer for James Day & the Fish Fry. Most notably, he has performed with them at the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tenn.
