Molly Nocheck
Molly Nocheck, a Cincinnati native, graduated from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a B.S. in journalism. During her time as an undergraduate, Molly served as the director of Students Defending Students, an organization focused on advising students through Ohio University’s judicial processes. Her work with Students Defending Students inspired her to establish FIRE’s Student Defenders program — a now-national network advocating for due process and student rights on campuses across the country.
Today, Molly oversees FIRE’s student development programs, building a strong and sustainable talent pipeline rooted in a deep passion for free speech. She leads student internship initiatives and designs forward-thinking early-career programs that encourage lasting involvement with civil liberties.
Her commitment to defending free expression is matched only by her love of Skyline Chili.
